Role and Responsibilities
The DLT Science Foundation (DSF) is looking for a Tokenomics Researcher who will:
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of existing tokenomics models to assess their effectiveness, including simulations and scenario analysis;
- Develop token economic models that align with the project’s objectives, considering factors such as token supply, allocation, distribution strategies, and utility;
- Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate tokenomics into smart contracts and manage token distribution strategies;
- Assist in community engagement initiatives such as rewards programs and airdrops to bolster ecosystem growth;
- Collaborate with external partners, such as exchanges, wallet providers, and regulatory bodies, to support their token ecosystems;
- Produce original research on tokenomics theories, and regulatory developments to continuously refine and innovate the project’s token model.
- Report to the Head of Tokenomics.
Skill Requirements
The ideal applicant will be characterised by:
- Knowledge of and passion for the blockchain industry;
- Proficiency in designing economic models and performing quantitative analyses using statistical tools or programming languages (e.g., Python, R);
- Ability to think strategically about long-term implications of tokenomics designs;
- Familiarity with the legal and regulatory environment surrounding cryptocurrencies;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
- Commitment to ongoing research, learning, and adaptation in the rapidly evolving blockchain and cryptocurrency fields;
- A creative approach to problem-solving;
- A strong ethical foundation to develop fair and transparent tokenomics systems;
- Preferred qualifications: BSc or MSc in Economics, Management, Finance and related disciplines
