Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a proactive Senior QA Engineer to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our tools suite. This role will involve leading the quality assurance efforts, designing and implementing tests, identifying issues, and collaborating with the development team to enhance the performance and security of our applications.

Duties include:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and issues.
  • Conduct functional, regression, performance, and security vulnerability testing.
  • Lead and contribute to both manual and automated testing efforts.
  • Create and maintain detailed test documentation.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the highest quality products.
  • Continuously improve the QA processes and tools to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in QA methodologies.

Skill requirements

The ideal applicant will be characterised by:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Experience with load and stress testing of high traffic websites.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript for developing and maintaining test scripts.
  • Experience with Cucumber and Gherkin syntax for behaviour-driven development (BDD).
  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
  • Experience with UI testing frameworks and tools.
  • Knowledge of database querying and validation to ensure UI data consistency.
  • Excellent command of the English language, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to new tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
