Chadwick's journey with DLT began in 2012 when he first started following the adoption of Bitcoin. He later worked on the launching the world's first market data oracle for Ethereum after which he became the Head of the Blockchain Center of Excellence at UBS. He was also a founding Board Member of the Crypto Valley Association in Switzerland.

His expertise in the field is widely recognised, with Forbes naming his team as a Top 50 company in blockchain. Chadwick's experience in the blockchain industry led him to become involved with the DLT Science Foundation (DSF) as an advisor. When Paolo Tasca, the founder of the DSF, approached him, Chadwick was attracted by the research focus and the network of individuals the Foundation was approaching to become advisors. As an advisor, Chadwick hopes to assist researchers in finding a route to market for novel ideas.

Chadwick sees DLT as an alternative infrastructure for value exchange and an increasing shared network for recording claims and attestations. He envisions a future where DLT plays a crucial role in facilitating global transactions and streamlining processes.

As for how he sees himself and the DSF contributing to this future, Chadwick says that the focus will be on innovation and go-to-market opportunities for research outcomes. With his extensive knowledge and experience in DLT, it is clear that his involvement with the DSF will be a significant asset to the Foundation.
